Jenny Stewart, experienced lecturer and contributing author to the A Level Film Studies textbook, explores Penn's epoch defining masterpiece 'Bonnie and Clyde' in depth in her lecture that accompanies the screening of this classic New Hollywood film. The film centres Bonnie Parker, a bored waitress who falls in love with an ex-con named Clyde Barrow and together they start a violent crime spree through the country, stealing cars and robbing banks.

The focus of the lecture will be on the film's context and Arthur Penn's auteur status. The day runs from 10:30 to 15:30, and although the content is tailored to meet the requirements of the A-Level Film Studies Course, the material will be accessible and engaging for all.
