?Green United invites you to join them to find out about the local action they are taking to make the world a better and more sustainable place?. The event will start? ?with ?the world premiere of ?Green on Screen? where twelve young people from five local schools have made three short films on environmental topics they care about; Palm Oil, Ocean Pollution and Bees. The project has been made in partnership with Depot who provided the creative filmmaking workshops.
Green United works with pupils in primary and secondary schools in Lewes, East Sussex. It has the support of young people, parents, teachers, local councillors and governors of local schools, as well as staff and students from the University of Sussex.? ?Green United encourages organisations and individuals to give their time, talent (skills) or treasure (financial donations) to help address specific concerns identified by young people at a very local level. A Youth Board decide?s? how best to allocate funds that are raised for projects and initiatives suggested by young people.
