Learn how to move your audience by moving your camera.
Dynamic, intentional camera moves bring a film to life — but knowing where to start can be difficult. Too often, filmmakers fall back on simple tricks that are fine, but lack dramatic purpose. This four-hour intensive workshop will give you everything you need to understand not just how to move the camera, but why.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll learn how to use:
•pans and tilts
•tracking shots
•countermoves and parallax
•gimbal shots
•programming slider shot sequences
•effective focus pulling
•effective handheld shooting
•moving masters / oners
•the walk and talk
With access to the latest high-end equipment, you’ll get hands-on experience building shots with actors — and leave with a toolkit you can use across your future work.
