This award-winning film, executive produced by Oscar-nominated Director Fernando Meirelles (City of God, The Two Popes, The Constant Gardener) follows Malian musician Inna Modja who takes us on an epic journey along Africa's Great Green Wall — an ambitious vision to grow an 8,000km 'wall' of trees stretching across the entire continent.

This World Wonder hopes to fight back against apocalyptic climate change, severe resource scarcity, increased conflict and mass migration. In line with the Environmental Law Foundation's core values, our documentary aims to embrace the power of public awareness and inspire social action to ensure the Great Green Wall becomes a reality by 2030.

Presented with support of the BFI Film Audience Network, awarding funds from the National Lottery in order to bring this project to more audiences across the UK.
