Part of our Wine Tasting series for 2024
To the south of Spain lies the region of Andalusia, often overlooked by the more famous wines of Rioja. Andalusia includes the towns of Seville, Cordoba and Granada and has a rich history that is reflected in the wines they produce.
With over 40,000 hectares of land dedicated to vines, they produce a diverse range of wines. From the world famous sherries of Jerez de la Frontera to dry manzanilla wines and the Ronda and Malaga young red, white and rosé table wines.
Robert Senior, Depot Chair of Trustees and wine enthusiast, will guide you through a tasting of world class dry sherries, red and white tables and vibrant dessert wines plus a glass of one of the few sparkling white produced in the region. The tasting will be accompanied by regional ham, cheese and olives.
