Based on Carlos Acosta's autobiography 'No Way Home', from growing up on the streets of Cuba and  being pushed reluctantly into ballet by his father, to working with the English Royal Ballet and becoming the first black dancer to perform some of the most famous ballet roles of all time - this biopic explores the relationship between Carlos' father, his family and his country.

This event features an introduction and post film Q&A with director Icíar Bollaín, writer Paul Laverty (I, Daniel Blake), producer Andrea Calderwood (Last King of Scotland) and dancer/choreographer/actor Carlos Acosta (Don Quixote, ROH Ballet and Our Kind of Traitor).
