February 2026
QueerFest returns to Depot for 2026! This year, we’re exploring how different genres depict Queer identities, with a programme that includes documentary, drama, fantasy, and neo-noir.
Our programme kicks off with the illuminating and deeply personal documentary Lesvia, in which filmmaker Tzeli Hadzidimitriou tells the story of a lesbian community that has flourished in the small Greek village of Eressos from the 1970s through to the present day.
Then, experience 100 Nights of Hero, a visually arresting historical fantasy from Julia Jackman that boasts an impressive cast including Maika Monroe, Emma Corrin, Charlie XCX, Nicholas Galitzine, and Richard E. Grant.
Baby is a stylish, emotionally resonant drama from Brazilian director Marcelo Caetano, in which a young man finds himself drawn into a turbulent affair as he attempts to survive on the streets of São Paulo.
Finally, we end the festival with Bound, a 1996 cult classic from Lana and Lilly Wachowski (who would later go on to direct The Matrix). In this erotic crime thriller, Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon star as lovers who hatch a scheme to steal $2 million from the mob.
Of course, it wouldn’t be QueerFest without a blowout party in Robert’s Bar! Join us after Bound to see out the season in style.
