Women Over 50 Film Festival (WOFFF) champions and showcases the work of older women on screen and behind the camera with an annual short film festival and year-round events and film screenings, and we’re delighted to be hosting their 2024 festival right here at Depot.
This is the 10th edition of the festival and it promises to be a joyful day for people of all ages and genders, with a very special guest star.
WOFFF is for anyone who loves to watch fascinating and surprising films and who wants to be part of building a more equal, inclusive world.

You can add a £25 donation to your ticket purchase by choosing the WOFFF Angel Ticket from the ticketing screen. This gift donation will go directly to WOFFF, helping the festival grow and supporting its future.
Our Angels are given access to all elements of the Festival at Depot, and your name will be listed in the programme and on our website.

Celebrate ten years of the Women Over 50 Film Festival at Depot this September, and join us for:
– three programmes packed with award-winning international short films: animation, comedy, documentary, experimental and drama

This special “In Conversation With” will reflect on Thelma’s seminal role as ‘Mavis’ in Coronation Street which she played for over 25 years. Thelma, now 95, came out of retirement recently to star in WOFFF24 drama Sleepless in Settle
You won’t want to miss this conversation filled with amazing soap stories from the ‘70s to the ‘90s with a British legend who’s almost a double woman over 50!
