A Complete Unknown is the new film from James Mangold that sees Timothée Chalamet take on the role of a young Bob Dylan. We’re celebrating by screening two films exploring the life and work of the influential artist, whose music helped shape the trajectory of popular culture in the 20th century and through to the present day.

On 8 January, experience D.A. Pennebaker’s iconic documentary Bob Dylan: Dont Look Back, in which Dylan is surrounded by teen fans, gets into heated philosophical jousts with journalists, and kicks back with fellow musicians Joan Baez, Donovan, and Alan Price. On 28 January, join us for Todd Haynes’ experimental drama I’m Not There, in which six actors portray different aspect of Dylan’s persona, revealing his constant reinvention.
