At Depot, we’re passionate about offering  high quality and lovingly prepared sustenance – from breakfast through to dinner. When choosing our suppliers we find out as much about them and their product as possible. We rigorously check their credentials in terms of ethics, environmental impacts and locality. We love the challenges and rewards this process provides as well as keeping our menus fresh and enticing.

Great suppliers always have interesting stories to tell and we love supporting and showcasing their unique and special qualities.

Meet the Supplier: Everflyht Vineyard

Friday 14 August from 14:00 – 19:00 on Depot’s outdoor terrace – FREE entry

We’re excited to announce our first ‘Meet the Supplier’ event at Depot – and you’re all invited! On Friday 14 August, you can join us on our terrace as we welcome one of our new suppliers as part of our participation in the Sussex Six campaign – Everflyht Vineyard, joining us from just down the road in Ditchling.

You’ll have the opportunity to sample an exquisite selection of wines from the vineyard, as well as plenty of chances to chat with the Everyflyht team about wine production in Sussex.

To top it off, we’ll be offering a 10% discount on our stocked Everflyht products for the day – choose from their luxurious Wylde Sparkling Rosé or Cuvée Edition 3 that combines Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier.

Whether you’re a self-proclaimed sommelier, a budding vintner or just on the lookout for your new favourite wine, this event is the perfect opportunity to sample some of the best local produce that Sussex has to offer. We hope to see you there to help join us in welcoming the Everflyht team to Depot!

Depot is proud to be a participating member of the Sussex Six campaign, a county-wide initiative encouraging businesses to champion the exceptional food and drink produced right here on our doorstep. By supporting local growers, makers and producers, the campaign helps strengthen the local economy while promoting a more sustainable future for Sussex.

Supporting local suppliers has been at the heart of Depot’s restaurant since we opened our doors in 2017. Our seasonal menus are carefully created to showcase the very best ingredients Sussex has to offer, making the most of produce when it’s at its freshest and at its peak.

While we’re already proud to work with a fantastic network of local producers, we’re always looking for opportunities to expand those partnerships and introduce even more Sussex ingredients to our menus – therefore not just reducing food miles and supporting independent businesses, but also celebrating the incredible quality and diversity of produce that makes our county so special.
