Depot’s Kino Collective

Depot’s KINO Collective gives young people aged 16-19 the opportunity to be part of a small team with the power and responsibility to programme film screenings at Depot for other young people.

We meet weekly during term times (currently on Wednesdays from 4:30pm) at Depot. We discuss what films to screen how to promote them, which can involve, designing artwork, posting on socials and making own trailers. The mission: to share our love of films and encourage more young people into the cinema; cinema is more than just a screening.

 

If you are interested in becoming part of the KINO Collective group you can read the person spec, outlining what I’m looking for in new members, on this PDF, and submit your application using this Google form.

I recruit new members when spaces become available, often this is at the start of the academic year, so you may not hear from me until a space becomes available. I will do my best to let you know I have received and read your application though.
