Join filmmaker Matt Harlock for a practical microbudget filmmaking workshop, followed by a special screening of his darkly comic thriller/horror BLOCKHEAD.

Matt will take you behind the scenes of how Blockhead was made in just 14 days - from raising the money and casting, through scheduling and shooting, to festivals, distribution and all the tips, tricks and hard-earned lessons along the way.

Previously presented at Ravensbourne and London College of Communication, Matt has also presented masterclasses at SXSW, BAFTA, Film London and Sheffield DocFest.

BLOCKHEAD follows a struggling novelist who gets an unexpected visit from his mysterious muse. As inspiration turns to obsession, chaos and murder ensue… but could it also be the making of a great novel? starring Joe Sims (Broadchurch, Doctor Who) and Danny Horn (Sunny Afternoon), Blockhead has screened at FrightFest, Encounters and LIFF.
