Part of the Filmpoem Festival, we are pleased to offer a 2-day Animation workshop run by BAFTA- winner Nandita Jain and award-winning filmmaker Helmie Stil. Six children aged 9 – 12 will get the opportunity to create a short animation film inspired by the poems of Colin West. Both sessions will run between 10:00 and 13:00. The power of imagination is used to create storyboards, characters, animate them and give them voices.
Each film will be premiered on a big screen during the Filmpoem Festival on the 28th of October where children’s poet Colin West will be present to see the films and perform his poetry.
