Join Lazy Girls Film Club for a unique zine workshop inspired by the world of melodrama. Rule-breaking women, tragic romances, and big emotions are at the core of melodrama movies, and this session will allow you to explore those themes using a variety of materials, including magazines, film stills, colourful pens and paper.

Zines are the ultimate outlet for passionate fandom and intense emotions, making them the ideal fit for melodrama! It is an accessible and therapeutic activity suitable for adults of all experience levels and abilities. Everything you need will be provided on the day, though you are welcome to bring along your own materials.

So leave your cynicism at the door and get ready for a session of creative crafting. After the workshop, Lazy Girls Film Club will present a special screening of Mikio Naruse's heartbreaking romantic masterpiece Floating Clouds (booked separately). A perfectly cosy pairing for film lovers!
