Depot is turning 5!

Save the date! May 2022 sees five years since Depot first opened its doors to the world, and we think that’s as good a reason as any to have a celebration.

During the end of May and beginning of June, we’ll be holding a whole host of unique and special events to mark five years since our opening to the public. You can bet we’ll be doubling down on what we do best to celebrate the things at our core; incredible films; fantastic food; fun events; and of course, the people that help make Depot what it is – you, the customers, our local community.

“It certainly has been an extraordinary five years, with 2017  feeling both like a lifetime ago as well as no time ago at all. I speak for us all when I say that we couldn’t be more ecstatic at how welcoming and supportive the community has been of Depot, and we only hope that we have been as welcoming and supportive to you all in return.

Depot wouldn’t be where it is today without all the staff that have come and gone, and we thank everyone who has taken part in the last five years for helping build Depot into what we hoped it would be – an arts venue championing sustainable practices and showcasing the best in arthouse, independent and world cinema. Here’s to another 5 years!

– Carmen Slijpen, Director & Programmer

Five genres. Five films. And the winners are…
