Father’s Day Film
Fight Club (1999)
Sunday 16 June, 16:45
Director David Fincher’s seminal psychological drama follows Edward Norton’s unnamed “everyman” protagonist who – discontented with his mindnumbing white collar job – forms a ‘fight club’ with soap maker Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt).
Soon these irregular societies – featuring a group of guys knocking the spots off one another – spread thoughout the country, taking on anti-materialist and anti-corporate views that threaten to get out of hand.
