KINO Collective is proud to present its first screening - But I’m A Cheerleader. This romantic comedy follows the story of highschool cheerleader Megan. Although she has a boyfriend, she is shocked when her parents decide to send her to a conversion therapy camp. Megan and her fellow campers undergo hilarious attempts to change their sexuality and her situation is further confused by her relationship with the rebellious Graham.

Apart from being a hugely entertaining film, But I’m A Cheerleader has been chosen as a positive representation of LGBTQ+ stories. This feature is screening in association with Mental Health On Film.
