Part of our celebration of Virginia Woolf

A screening marking the centenary of the publication of Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf, introduced by Caroline Baylis-Green

The story of how the novel Mrs. Dalloway affects three generations of women, all of whom, in one way or another, have had to deal with suicide in their lives.

The Hours is the story of these women searching for more potent, meaningful lives. Each is alive at a different time and place, all are linked by their yearnings and their fears.

Their stories intertwine, and finally come together in a surprising, transcendent moment of shared recognition.
