Depot Kitchen is open for breakfast – with something to suit all tastes, from our homemade cakes to hearty brunch dishes like sweetcorn fritters with spinach and roast tomato sauce or eggs benedict with ham hock.
We try and make the very best of the suppliers in our area: our meat is sourced from May’s butchers here in Lewes; our coffee is roasted up the road; the bread made in the next village along and our eggs are always free range. > Download our brunch menu
From midday we offer a mixture of small meals, sharing plates and larger dishes for a proper lunch break. We have something for all tastes; vegetarian, vegan, fish and meat.
Many of our dishes are gluten free and all are prepared from scratch in our kitchen.
As with our food, our drinks menu has an emphasis on local produce. Sussex and the South Downs have a strong reputation for wine production. This is exemplified by the award-winning Ridgeview sparkling and Bolney white wines. We also serve international wines.
We offer local beers: Harveys beer on tap as well as guest ales from around the region, such as Gun Hill. Our cider comes from Hunts and we have a carefully selected variety of whiskies and gins. All of these can be enjoyed at leisure in our restaurant, bar, or on the terraces.
