What concessions are available and do I need to bring in proof?

£5 concession tickets are available for customers claiming any of the following:

Universal Credit
Pension Credits

Personal Independent Payments (PIP)
Disability Living Allowance (DLA)

Proof is required and can be in the form of a letter, screenshot or email confirming your claim or a recent bank statement showing details of the payment.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

We require 24 hours notice for a refund, except when the film/event is completely sold out and there is a waiting list. If a cancellation is made the same day as the performance, we may be able to move your ticket to the same film but on a different day or time. We regret that we cannot issue credit notes or vouchers for cancelled tickets.

What happens to my ticket if a film at Depot is cancelled or changed to a day I can’t attend?

If Depot has to cancel a film or it is moved to a day which is inconvenient to the customer, a full refund is automatically issued.

Why do you take contact details for each booking?

We take contact details in case there is a technical issue with the film (we sometimes suffer from local power cuts in the area) and need to automatically refund a customer’s ticket. It is also used to contact customers in the event of screen/performance-time changes or if customers lose items during the screening given the huge amount of lost property we acquire each year! Please see our privacy notice.

Why do you charge booking fees?

Keeping in line with inflation and credit card transaction fees, we felt this was the fairest and least impactful option to our dedicated customers, instead of increasing ticket prices across the board.

The booking fee helps fund the running of our booking services inlcuding our remote-payment facility.

If a film is sold out, can I go on a waiting list?

We usually have a waiting list for sold-out screenings and if we don’t, we can create one! Just ask any member of the Box Office team.

What ID do you accept for proof of age?

As proof of age we require official I.D. that includes a photo and date of birth. We accept all the following forms of ID:
Passport
Driver’s license
Student/School pass (this must show your photo and date of birth)
ID from another age-related scheme, such as PASS, Portman Prove It! or International Student Identity Card (ISIC)

Staff reserve the right to refuse admittence in the absence of suitable identificaiton.

However, with our Live Arts screenings, such as NTLive and Royal Ballet & Opera, there is often pre-performance footage, interviews and behind the scenes content which can last longer than our usual 7-10 minutes. Details about live event timings can be obtained by calling the Box Office on 01273 525354 or asking a member of the Box Office team.
