Music and Movement with Movingsounds

Movingsounds is inviting carers and those they look after with Dementia to join us for uplifting musical fun with this interactive and varied workshop. Also welcome any Elders who's health will benefit.

Movingsounds bring a mix of light heartedness, huge musical talent and spontaneity to each session. They'll meet everyone in Depot's Studio and find the fun and laughter in creating music and gently moving together.

The music has a jazz feel and is upbeat, improvisational and polished. Mike's guitar and singing voice exactly matches Keith's glorious clarinet tunes - these musicians have played together for a long time and that really shows.

Everybody can be part of the experience - the wellbeing benefits of gently engaging with the music include emotional regulation, breathing ease, mood enhancement and an all round feeling of connection and positivity with each other.
