Artwave – Structures

Thank you for entering Depot's open exhibition, Artwave 2025.
This is the receipt of your £10 artwork entry to this exhibition.

As part of the 2025 Artwave festival (5th - 21st Sept) Depot will be holding an open exhibition of art created by the public in the Studio.

The theme of this year's open exhibition at Depot is Structures. We are inviting artists of all ages and experience to submit works of art inspired by this theme. Structures surround us in many different forms. From the buildings in our landscapes, to the furniture and products used in our daily lives, the magic of the intricate structures of biology and nature to our own physical forms. Everything has a structure. Can you find inspiration in these forms to create an artwork? All styles and mediums are welcome; You can be an experienced artist or someone who is only just finding your creative side.

Maximum 3 works per entry

Entries must be submitted by 10 am 25th August

Artworks will be selected by a committee at Depot, successful applicants will be notified on 27th August and all artworks must be delivered by 10 pm on 31st August.

All artworks must be mounted with picture string at the back.
If artworks are not properly mounted we will not be able to exhibit the work.

Application's age (this will not be included in the catalogue)
Town of residence
Artwork's medium
Dimension of artwork
Contact details if you want these included in the catalogue
Short bio - max 75 words

Artwork will not be on sale at the exhibition but if the work is available for sale please let us know and we will include this information in the catalogue with the price.

Depot reserves the right to cancel the exhibition at any time.
