Capture the sun with a six-month pinhole camera
Learn how to make a super-long-exposure pinhole camera from an aluminium can with science-inspired artist Nick Sayers.
Using this camera you can take a six-month ‘solargraph’ photo of sun tracks passing over the landscape (your house, etc) from winter to summer. During the workshop there will be an introductory talk about the art and science involved in the project. You will also learn how to make a ‘rayogram’ – the frozen shadow of an object on photographic paper. See examples of Nick Sayers’ photos of local landmarks
Date: Friday 1 or Saturday 2 December, 13:00
