Sunday 11 May

Features post-show Q&A with Mark Farrelly and Peter Tatchell

This vibrant solo play from Mark Farrelly (The Silence of Snow: The Life of Patrick Hamilton) brings Derek back into being for a passionate, daring reminder of the courage it takes to truly live while you’re alive. A journey from Dungeness to deepest, brightest Soho and into the heart of one of our most iconoclastic artists.

Homegrown

Monthly from January 2025

Join us for the latest in British Independent Cinema. We will be handpicking films that show the diversity and skill present across the industry – and inviting the filmmakers and actors themselves to join us and provide first hand personal insight into the process of making a film.

Sustainability at Depot

At Depot we are strongly aware of the environmental impact of running our venue and we are committed to working towards long term solutions.

Accessible Screenings at Depot

Screenings with Descriptive Subtitles

Every Monday the Depot programme includes a selection of films with descriptive subtitles – a transcription of the film’s dialogue, in English, along the bottom of the screen. A description of the sounds in the film is also included

Autism-Friendly & Relaxed screenings

Depot runs regular screenings that offer a more relaxed experience, including adjustments to the sound and lighting. There’s also an easy-going attitude to comings and goings, if people need to move around or a break from the screening.

Parent & Baby screenings

A weekly screening exclusively for parents/carers with babies under 12 months. Babies can sleep, burble or cry – and parents/carers get a chance to catch up with the most recent releases. Babies go free!
