Rascals Film Festival

Coming soon – Events for February Half Term 21 & 22 February

Films can show us new worlds, taking us on journeys to wondrous places, both real and imagined. At Depot we believe in the power of cinema to inspire younger audiences, broaden their horizons, and allow them to experience new perspectives.

Live Arts Cinema

Here at Depot we strive to bring you the best screenings from The Royal Opera House, Royal Ballet and National Theatre, as well as other live art events.

Homegrown

Monthly from January 2025

Join us for the latest in British Independent Cinema. We will be handpicking films that show the diversity and skill present across the industry – and inviting the filmmakers and actors themselves to join us and provide first hand personal insight into the process of making a film.

Sustainability at Depot

At Depot we are strongly aware of the environmental impact of running our venue and we are committed to working towards long term solutions.

Accessible Screenings at Depot

Screenings with Descriptive Subtitles

Every Monday the Depot programme includes a selection of films with descriptive subtitles – a transcription of the film’s dialogue, in English, along the bottom of the screen. A description of the sounds in the film is also included

Autism-Friendly & Relaxed screenings

Depot runs regular screenings that offer a more relaxed experience, including adjustments to the sound and lighting. There’s also an easy-going attitude to comings and goings, if people need to move around or a break from the screening.

Parent & Baby screenings

A weekly screening exclusively for parents/carers with babies under 12 months. Babies can sleep, burble or cry – and parents/carers get a chance to catch up with the most recent releases. Babies go free!
