John and Mary have lived with desolating grief and the agony of uncertainty for the past ten years. Their only child, Clare, ran away from home when she was fourteen. When Clare returns, now a young woman of twenty-four, John comes to believe that Clare is not who she claims to be.

Regular Film Clubs at Depot

Cinelogue

Depot’s strand dedicated to screening arthouse, independent and cult films while engaging in discussion on issues surrounding film and cinema culture. 

Cinemas of the Mind

A screening with post-film discussion facilitated by Dr Jake Harvey, a forensic psychiatrist, and Jenny Leeburn, a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, focusing on the psychological aspects of the film, and the emotional impact on the viewer.

Kino Collective

A group of young people dedicated to sharing an enthusiasm and knowledge of cinema through the hosting of specially selected screenings and events for young adults.

Book to Film Club

Depot’s Book to Film Club is a relaxed and open space to talk about books and movies. With classics, horror, and sci-fi on the shelf, there’s something for everyone to get their reading glasses on for.

Everybody-Friendly Screenings

Come and enjoy a relaxed, subtitled movie experience in our spacious and accessible cinema.  Especially suitable for those with additional needs, including people living with autism, dementia, the hard of hearing and older audiences.  Carers, families and supporters are welcome too, and refreshments are provided
