Saturday 27 April
Depot Cinema and Dolly Clothing host a day of inspiration and information about the clothes on our backs. Join us for a film, a panel discussion, a clothes swap and more!
We start the day by screening The True Cost (12A), a groundbreaking documentary about the fashion industry’s effect on people and planet. Followed by a panel discussion + Q&A workshop to discuss how we, as a community, can light a creative fuse to affect change.
Depot’s Kitchen & Bar will be open as usual and there may be a Fashion Flash Mob bursting into life when you least expect it!
At 14:00 it’s your turn to take action at The Wardrobe Revolution Clothes Swap. Disrupt the fast fashion machine by swapping not shopping!
Bring those gorgeous but neglected items you never wear and swap them for fabulous new-to-you finds. Dolly’s team of stylists and tailors will divulge their insider tips throughout the afternoon in the Studio at Depot.
Menfolk! If you don’t have any clothes to swap because you wear them till they die, don’t worry. Come anyway. There’ll be plenty of clothes, as well as professional advice around men’s styling and tailoring.
Clothes Swap: £6 flat fee – bring what you can, take what you like. Please drop off your good quality womenswear and menswear any time before the event at Dolly’s studio, 3 North Court, Lewes, BN7 2AR (upstairs at Wear 2)
