Depot’s Kino Collective has reformed with a new cohort of young adults, eager to share their enthusiasm and appreciation for cinema.

The group aims ‘to build a community of avid young cinema-goers who are eager to explore the varied and transporting world of the movies.’

Kino Collective holds regular monthly screenings at Depot, which are organised and promoted by the group. Screenings usually take place at Depot but are currently being held online; on the first Wednesday of the month at 19:00 through Netflix Party.

Films are chosen and voted for by Kino Collective members and, in the past, have included Persepolis, Moonlight, Cinema Paradiso, Donnie Darko and Hedwig & the Angry Inch.

In addition to organising screenings, group members are very active on social media, writing film recommendations and their own Letterboxd reviews.
