Depot is inviting young aspiring filmmakers to get involved in highlighting the problem of food waste.

Love Food, Waste not, Want Not! is a competition helping us to look in the fridge and throw together a delicious meal, rather than throwing food in the bin.

Aspiring filmmakers (or groups) aged 15-20, who love food and care about the environment, are invited to enter our competition to be in with the chance of making a film about the problem of food waste.

Shortlisted entrants will be invited to come to Depot to talk through their idea. Three selected filmmakers will then be supported through the filmmaking process by Depot’s filmmaking teacher, between February and May, and the film will be screened at Depot. The overall best film will win a £200 prize.

To enter, write a treatment (up to 500 words) on the content and style of you film, including images. Send it to [email protected] – the deadline for entries is 13 February 2020.
